It's a sunny day and I'm quite bored.
When I woke up I got a message that someone is happy for me to be writing again. Which is what I really should be doing, otherwise I would wake up one day with this sudden urge to pull my brains out for too much things going on in my mind. Writing is my way of de-stressing.
And so along with my mind unloading stuff that needs to be shared with other human beings, I grabbed my cellphone and tried to do the same thing.
3 months. 529 messages deleted. 90% emotional baggage gone.
Today is such a good day.

I said I would be serious about my blogging, but more than two months later, I still haven't filled up a lot of the pages I was supposed to write on.
And to think there's a lot of things going on right now that's really worth writing about.

But because I said awhile back then that I'd be putting up another account to which I would consider as the home of my professional blogging career, I set up another one.
Because the first one had spelling errors in it and the host won't let me make another one under the same name (even of different spelling), I have to create a new one.

Munchies.

Unfortunately, I
still have the munchies. And for someone who had a lot of craving last week,
imagine how it feels to have your cravings list double up, without you even
finishing the initial list. (Talk about craving last week for a cheese steak
sandwich with garlic mayonnaise, siomai with just the right amount of chili
garlic on the toyomansi sauce, corn on the cob with lots of butter and salt and
definitely not dry, blueberry snowcone or perhaps blue lemonade, green mango
shake which must taste sweet enough to numb my sweet tooth, barbecue or that
recent discovery of mine that is the barbecue flavored instant pancit canton,
garlic bread oozing with cholesterol from too much butter, and something sweet
like ice cream sandwich, preferrably the Moo ice cream sandwich which
unfortunately doesn't come around anymore so I had to settle for DQ's ice cream
sandwich.)
On a serious note,
this is definitely driving me bonkers. As someone had put it, it's probably the
female hormones cranking up the high level of munchies this month. But I think
otherwise. It's never been this much craving before. And as one friend commented,
I have just topped a pregnant lady's munchies level. (Her taking note of the
extremely long, not to mention specific, craving list I had.)
And just as I was on
my way home from work tonight, I had another surge of munchies of what I think
is an even longer list of things to conquer for my tummy. I'd rather not write
those right now, as my stupid *prepaid*
internet connection is about to let me down and it would probably take me most
of the night to list what my palate wants (and on top of this I've been
switching channels from Travel and Living, which is showing Anthony Bourdain by
the way, and 2nd Ave's Top Chef New York, plus that beer documentary on the
History channel's The Works.) To begin with, I want a donut. Usually, I'd
settle for Mister Donut's Twists or GoNuts' pastillas de leche or creamcheese
flavor, or one of Krispy Kreme's cheesecake donuts or even Dunkin Donuts'
Boston Kreme, but not tonight. I had the munchies for a chocobutternut from DD.
So I made it a point to stop by the branch at the jeepney stop. Even though
they had that flavor in munchkins, I want the
regular one. Yes, the one with the whole. For some unkown reason, I
don't know why. And as fate would have it, they don't have that so I had to
settle for a Boston Kreme, which I ate half-heartedly.
It's been three
hours since the donut had set place in my tummy. I said I have a lot more on my
list, and it's definitely a growing list. And at this moment, I think I know
why I have the munchies. It probably has something to do with the way I
suddenly had an outburst last night, and probably in the next few days to come.
Basically, to sum up
what I've ranted about in the past twenty minutes, I'd like to copy his words
to simply express why I've been wanting to eat a lot of things lately.
"I hate that feeling, when you feel hungry, but you
don't want any food you see, and you can't figure out what you want, and you
don't think it even exists, but then you realize what you want is to see the
person you're missing."
